Hello Creep (Poem)

Darkness just won't let me be.
Around the corner, I do see
Creeping up on me like an old friend.
I thought last year was the end,
Yet here we go again.

The repeat of depression,
Nightmares are now in session.
Do you have any more confessions?
The weight of sorrow, with no concessions.
In the shadows, I am bound by silent screams,
Just like the horror movie scenes.
No one around,

A battle fought within my mind.
Peace and solace, are too hard to find.
Yet through the darkness, I will strive
To find the light to stay alive.

Pushing through the sorrow and pain,
Reminding them of my roots and name.
This too shall pass,
Just like broken glass,

Reflecting the evil smile,
So vile.
The demon didn't make a peep,
Only took one giant leap
Into my mind with whispers deep,
In the silence, secrets keep.

Chaotic Year

 In the whirlwind of days,

time's frantic race,

Moments blur, a chaotic embrace.

From dawn's first light to midnight's deep,

A year of turmoil, promises to keep.

Storms of change, relentless and wild,

Dreams once clear, now beguiled.

Through the tempest, we navigate,

Seeking calm amidst the fate.

Laughter mingles with tears unshed,

Paths once taken, now misled.

Yet in the chaos, strength we find,

Resilience blooms, heart and mind.

Each challenge faced, a lesson learned,

In the fire, our spirits burned.

From ashes rise, anew we stand,

A testament to life's grand plan.

In the land of red hats and loud cheers, They cast their votes, fueled by fears.  Promises made, but not always kept,  In the end, it's ...
