The New Year

Another day another dawn another night
Though the future is not insight
A nation divided per civil unrest
New POTUS decree seemed to be blessed

Yet all the words and the fancy-dressed
Leaves bitterness and disdain
The Old POTUS was the bain
Long road ahead and it is pressed

Our Nation does bleed
With racial injustice
As the cancel culture cuss us
Yet still, he will lead

Give him a chance we declare
As we gave Satan his due
Yet everything he did was unfit
Still see the blank stare
They yet have no clue
That they too shall benefit

I doubt they care
Yet we still with it bear
As they all glare
Shouting its Unfair

Welcome people without fear
For it's The New Year.
